New Super Mario Bros. Wii is a 2009 side-scrolling platform video game developed and published by Nintendo for the Wii video game console. It is the first game in the Mario main series since Mario Bros. to feature simultaneous multiplayer gameplay, and the first title to include Nintendo's new 'Super Guide' feature.
The font used for the main part of the logo is very similar to Mario Wii, which is a fanmade font based on the game logo. The font is available in capital letters only. You can download the font for free here. For the text 'New', the closest font we can find for it is Notes Style Bold Italic, or Imaki Bold Condensed.

Getting Started

Note down which letter appears after 4.3 - where the hand is pointing to in the picture - as you'll need it for LetterBomb!
If your console is fully updated, go into your 'Internet' settings, and then to 'Console Information'. Write down the MAC Address.
Next, go HERE. Input your MAC Address, select the System Menu version and fill in the Captcha. Make sure 'Bundle the hackmii installer for me' is checked. Cut the red wire.
A zip file will begin downloading. Save it.
Plug in your SD card and locate a folder named 'private'. If it exists, rename it to 'private_old'. Then, unpack* the zip file onto the root** of your SD Card. Delete the .txt files, they're not needed.
(Make sure that the SD is formatted to FAT)

Installing the Homebrew Channel
Insert the SD card into your Wii. Open the Wii Message Board, and scroll back a few pages. On one, you should see the Letterbomb letter.
Click on it, and confirm.
The ① button will take a while to appear, but be patient, and then press it.
Here, press 'Install the Homebrew Channel'. After it finishes, click on 'exit'.

Setting up Riivolution and Newer
You can return your 'private_old' folder back to 'private' now, and delete the Letterbomb 'private' and 'boot.elf'.

Create an 'apps' folder on your SD card. Put the contents of the download ('riivolution' folder) into it.

Download the Newer Super Mario Bros. package from HERE and locate* 'NewerSMBW' and 'riivolution' folders, then put them onto the root** of the SD card. Here is a sample picture of what this will look like.

Insert the SD card into your Wii and launch the Homebrew Channel.
Insert a retail New Super Mario Bros. disc. Make sure the option is set to 'Enabled' and click 'Launch' on this screen when it loads.
Make sure other hacks aren't enabled as well!
